Get Involved

As a registered charity we are always extremely grateful to anyone who can help us out.  Whether it’s providing prizes for the tombola, selling raffle tickets, joining the committee, offering to cut the grass or helping us to make costumes for the Christmas nativity; there is always something to get involved with.  Join our friendly volunteer team and make a real difference in providing our children with a happy, safe place to learn and explore.

Delaware Pre-School Committee

 

An annually elected committee oversee the running of the pre-school, with parents and carers giving as much input voluntarily as they are able.  The Committee are responsible for fundraising, liaising with staff, marketing, accounts and much more. We’re here because we care about the future of the Pre-School. We hold an Annual General Meeting, open to the parents of children who attend the Pre-School, to review the past and coming year’s activities.

 

• How can I get involved?

We’re always looking for new members so why not come along to one of our open meetings and see what goes on behind the scenes, or ask one of the existing committee members if you can join. We’re a friendly bunch and we are always eager to hear new ideas from interested parents and carers.

Contribute a little or a lot, it’s up to you.

 

• They’ll be fine without me?

We need your ideas and input. If nobody volunteered there wouldn’t be a Delaware Pre-School.
